SPICES USED IN BIRYANI

AMainely spices used for biryani are garam masala , cardamom, turmeric ,red chilli powder,saffron, black pepper, ,cloves ,cumin etc

1.garam masala :

it is used to add flavor and strongness to the biryani as it contains the blended spices like cloves, cardamom , cinnamon, and bay leaves to add up more taste and spice

2.turmeric:

it is used to give the yellow color to the biryani and subtle flavor. 

3. chilli powder:

heats up the dish and exposure by giving color and makes the dish more tastier.   

4.cardamom:

It enhances the taste and smell in the biryani and give the freshness to the food. 

5. cumin:

it is used with oil for enhancement of flavor and nutty taste in biryani.  

 

These are some main spice ingredients in biryani , we can add more spices according to the taste as these are the mainly used spices in India.

Biryani is very beloved food in cities like Hyderabad which is famous for its biryani 

The recipe of the famous Hyderabadi biryani as follows :

  1.  Take 3 or 4 cups of basmati rice and next it should be washed and soaked in water for about minimum 45 min and then put it into some jar or any utensils and keep aside .

 

2.You should require chicken according to the quantity and a bowl of yogurt and should give the outer covering with the biryani masala and some fried onions along with yogurt.

 

3.Take a large pan and put some oil and ghee and fry the chicken deeply.

 

4.Add some vegetables like tomato and green chilli. Cook it along with the chicken until the tomatoes gets soften.

 

5.Take the rice and put it within utensil and put the chicken mix them properly and cook them 

6.Sprinkle all the spices like turmeric powder ,red chilli powder, dry coriander seeds  , cardamom ,saffron and little amount of  biryani masala too for arousement of flavors properly

7.Cover and cook on low heat and see that the meat and rice should be properly cooked . At least cook it for 25 to 30 minutes
